May 2014South Downs National Park Authority approve planning permission and listed building consent for the conversion of redundant farm builidings to two residential units at Manor Farm, Greatham, West Sussex. RMA Heritage were involved from the start of this project providing guidance to T2 Architects and local developer, producing heritage significance statement, landscape character and visual assessment and negotiating with local conservation officers and English Heritage. The new use will rescue these important buildings which were in very poor condition and on the 'Buildings at Risk Register'. | |

An excellent result which will replace an unattractive conservatory with a very elegant contemporary glass extension designed by Zachary Pulman. The Inpector had no doubts about the merits of the scheme and found its unashamedly minimalist symmetrical form reflected the purity and symmetry of the rear elevation of this Greek Revival house. | |
December 2013RMA Heritage win our Appeal Hearing on 31 Wilton Crescent, Belgravia, London. A fantastic result which will add a whole 1st floor to this former rear wing of 1-2 Grosvenor Crescent, a Grade II* listed building in Belgravia Conservation Area. The proposal adds 100M2 of floor space to this dwelling and allows bedroom accommodation to be moved from the basement to the new 1st floor. The Inspector agreed that the listed building, streetscene and conservation area would be enhanced by the proposal and that it caused minimal harm to the significance of the listed building.RMA Heritage appointed to produce a Heritage Significance Assessment on a Grade II listed public house in Newbury and will be advising Focus Design and the client on their refurbishment proposals. | |
